Parliament's Health and Treatment Commission commends the efforts of the health system

According to Webda reporter, the meeting was attended by Dr. Mohammad-Reza Zafarghandi, accompanied by his deputies, Dr. Ali Jafarian (Deputy and Senior Advisor to the Minister), and Dr. Sadeghniat (Head of the Ministerial Office), during which a comprehensive report was presented on the latest measures, programs, and ongoing activities in the health sector.

Members of the Parliamentary Health and Treatment Commission, in continuation of the discussions, emphasized the importance of sustainable pharmaceutical supply, stressing the necessity of effective management of the supply and distribution chain, as well as timely forecasting of emerging needs.

Furthermore, the meeting underscored the critical need for continuous, cohesive, and efficient management of treatment centers—particularly in provinces facing increased patient referrals and population influxes during special circumstances and periods of conflict. Enhancing the healthcare system's preparedness to respond effectively to exceptional conditions was highlighted as a key priority.

At the conclusion of the meeting, both parties reaffirmed their commitment to sustaining interaction and coordination between the Islamic Consultative Assembly (Parliament) and the Ministry of Health. This collaboration aims to advance health indicators, improve the quality of health-centered services, and increase satisfaction among both the public and healthcare personnel.
